Since it’s inception in 1947, Channel Sheet Metal has continually expanded it’s custom metal fabrication services to industries in the Houston and Texas Gulf Coast areas. Today CSM offers a complete line of industrial sheet and plate fabrication capabilities in steel, stainless steel and aluminum, as well as in such exotic materials as Hastelloy, Inconel and Alloy 20.

CUSTOM FABRICATION CAPABILITIES

Over 40,000 square feet of facilities on 21 acres, we have the equipment and operationg maneuverability needed to meet most fabrication requirements. Personnel utilize our industrial lift equipment, which includes two 5-ton bridge cranes, a forklift and a cherry-picker to provide full-scale loading and unloading service.

PRODUCTION CAPACITIES

  • Shearing: 1/2” thick by 12’ long

  • Flame Cutting: Up to 2” thickness

  • Punching: 52 ton capacity

  • Plasma Arc Cutting: 3/4” max

  • Rolling: 7/8” thick by 8’ long

  • Forming: 3/8” thick by 10’ (280 ton capacity)

  • Thicker materials can be formed
    in shorter lengths

  • Welding: M.I.G. / Heliarc / Laser

  • Nelson Stud Welding
